President Obama Nominated for Nobel Prize in Economics! Oh, Wait.....

President Obama was recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.  But why?  What has he done?  It was supposedly for, "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."   But he was nominated 12 days after his election.  What exactly had he done?  At this point, 9 months into his administration, he has done almost nothing.  The only real accomplishment that he can claim is the negotiations with Iran to move their nuclear fissure material out of the country, and only time will tell if this will actually come to pass.  He is failing on his health care bill (thankfully), he has tripled the deficit, and is bankrupting the country.  Doesn't sound much like success to me.  

The only thing that he had done up to that point was give a speech in Berlin.  Of course, socialists around the world loved this, but we in the U.S. were appalled at his apologizing for the actions of the U.S. here and at other speeches that he gave around the globe.

Many of the talking heads have labeled this "The Award for Things He Wants To Do."  While this makes a good sound bite, I think it has more to do with the fact that the Socialists in Europe want the U.S. to become socialists, just like them.  They are tired of America ruling the world, and they see Obama as the turning point that will force our power to diminish and allow their's to reemerge.  They have always hated capitalism, and have hated the U.S. since the end of World War II, which just so happens to be when European powers waned and made way for the United States.

Unfortunately, they may just be right.  The dollar is collapsing, we are in the middle of one of the worst recessions in history, and Obama himself is linked to radicals and communists, some of who were his self -described mentors.

We will eventually see where the country ends up, and only time will tell if Obama deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.  But this much is true - Obama is the darling of the Mainstream Media, and the darling of communists the world over.  Hell, even Hugo Chavez likes him.  That says it all right there.
